Harry's Story...

As a father of three young kids, Harry finds it hard to find the time to keep fit but his passion for sports has never diminished. He’s always been a responsible person and as an accountant he knows the importance of good financial management. So when his best friend dies of a serious illness Harry decided to purchase Life Insurance. His financial adviser also recommended he purchase Trauma Insurance, which he did, even though he thought he would never actually see the benefit from either insurance policy.

Only four years later, Harry found he was having difficulty going to the toilet and despite experiencing discomfort, he assumed everything would be alright and ignored the symptoms. Eventually, against his will, his wife made him visit the doctor and after numerous tests Harry was dignosed with prostate cancer.

While understandably shocked and worried, Harry was comforted by the fact that he had the right insurance plan in place. This meant that at least his family would be taken care of should the worst happen.

Harry's family received $250,000 from his Trauma Insurance policy and this allowed him to concentrate on getting better, without his family having to worry about their financial state. With ongoing treatment Harry's health continues to improve and he now takes advantage of every chance he can to play sport with his kids.
